Supporting cross-cultural mission work is very important to us. Jesus told his disciples that they should spread the Gospel wherever they went, and for some this means going away from home and often working overseas. We are located very close to All Nations Christian College and so we have contact with many international students, some who worship with us during term time, and we enjoy sharing in many events at the college.

We now support seven mission partners who are working in different parts of the world in churches, doing Bible translation, using IT skills, teaching in college, teaching English, helping with businesses, all with the aim of helping others  know more about Jesus. We have contacts in Africa (Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana), in Europe (Belgium, Italy and Paris) and in Asia (Sri Lanka and Siberia). Some of our mission partners were once members of our youth group at HBC, others were students at All Nations and placed with us during their time of study.

Each month on a Sunday evening we meet to hear from our mission partners if they are at home and to pray for them. At other times, we learn from other speakers of what God is doing around the world.

We also support other local and overseas work through Tearfund, London City Mission, Compass Braille, and each year we fill shoe boxes for the Samaritans Appeal.
