Pastoral Vacancy

We are a well-established and warm hearted church in a growing commuter/market town in south east Hertfordshire, just outside the M25. Our statement of purpose is:-​

​​By God’s grace and power, we aim to be a worshipping, serving people, committed to following and becoming like Jesus, and helping others do the same.

We desire to be a community:-

• living out our discipleship in our everyday lives and thereby helping others to follow Jesus
• with impact and effectiveness in helping our neighbours, friends and family meet Jesus
• which includes more 20 and 30 year olds and families with their vitality whilst benefitting from our older members’ experience of following Jesus
• encouraged by a proactive leadership team to seek what Jesus is wanting to do with and through us.

We would welcome someone who:-

• can mentor and encourage us, particularly our active group of third agers, to grow in daily discipleship and missional living
• has experience in reaching out effectively to 20-30 year olds and young families
• enjoys showing Jesus’ love to the wider community and town
• can work well with an unpaid team seeking to balance missional and maintenance challenges. ​
